YEREVAN. – Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottlers Armenia plans to produce 40 million liters of Coca-Cola beverages this year.

CEO Gagik Danielyan answered reporters’ question during U.S. Ambassador John Heffern’s visit to the factory on Friday.

However, he declined to name prime cost of the product, but noted that the company registers a steady growth and has increased annual production volume several times since the factory was founded.

“We employ 600 people, 300 of them are working at the factory and another 300 are engaged in operations. We are proud of the fact that every year we are involved in the list of 30 largest taxpayers,” he said.

In his turn, Ambassador Heffern welcomed the fact that the quality of such a recognized American brand like Coca-Cola, is responsibly maintained in Armenia.

He stressed that all the employees of the company are the citizens of Armenia. This means that the company creates opportunities for self-fulfillment in their home country, he said, taking a sip of Coca-Cola Light.

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottlers Armenia was founded in 1995 and is a franchised bottler of The Coca-Cola Company.
