YEREVAN. – New Zealand’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Hamish Cooper, on Friday presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Sargsyan congratulated New Zealand’s first-ever Ambassador to Armenia, and expressed a hope that Cooper will personally contribute to the ensuring of progress in relations between the two countries, the President’s Press Office informs.    

The interlocutors shared the view that the potential for the development of cooperation and relations was not fully implemented over the course of the past twenty years since diplomatic relations were established between both countries, and now it is time to fill this gap.

Sargsyan and Cooper also underscored the need to establish interaction between Armenia and New Zealand within international organizations. 

Ambassador Hamish Cooper assured that he will do his utmost to develop the cooperation between the two countries.
