STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree.

In line with this command, Karabakh War veterans Ararat Avanesyan and Artur Gasparyan were awarded with the “For the Liberation of Shushi” medal, in recognition of their courage demonstrated in the battles that led to the defense of the homeland.

The President also signed an order to present valuable gifts to a group of Artsakh war veterans and a war veteran’s widow, in connection with Victory Day and the 21st anniversaries of the NKR Defense Army and the liberation of the City of Shushi, Central Information Department of the Office of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President informs.
