YEREVAN. – Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan will visit Portugal at the invitation of the director of European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA ) Wolfgang Götz.

He will participate in the 2nd Extended Reitox week, an international conference on drugs and fight against illicit drug trafficking, which will bring together representatives of 42 states.

During his trip on May 21-23, Baghdasaryan will meet with Wolfgang Götz to discuss Armenia’s involvement in REITOX, the European information network on drugs and drug addiction.

They will also discuss establishing of a drug rehabilitation center in Armenia, as well as signing of a  memorandum on cooperation between the National Security Council and EMCDDA.

Arthur Baghdasaryan is expected to hold other meetings on the margins of the conference.
