YEREVAN. – The “Regulatory Guillotine” program, which the Government of Armenia is conducting, is aimed at helping small businesses. 

Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan stated the aforesaid in the National Assembly on Wednesday.

Ruling Republican Party MP Karine Achemyan asked when the small business will feel the positive effect of this “regulatory guillotine.”   

In response, Avanesyan did not mention any exact dates, but said the reduction in the quantity of normative documents, or in the terms of the processes, has an immediate positive impact on small businesses.

As per the Minister of Economy, the normative acts are planned to be cut down by almost 30 percent in close to seventeen domains in  Armenia.
