YEREVAN. – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will assist Armenia in opening a new laboratory. 

The lab will function in capital city Yerevan, at the National Institute of Metrology, the latter’s director Vahan Sahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am

The new laboratory is getting ready to import and install corresponding equipment, and it is expected be opened by the end of the year.  

“We are preparing it with the IAEA standards, [and] therefore we are in constant contact with the Agency specialists,” Sahakyan noted.
