YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Minister of Urban Development Samvel Tadevosyan on Wednesday visited the construction site of Closed Market to inspect the work.

He was assured that construction works are not being carried out above ground.

The Minister visited the construction site immediately after parliament’s session. During the session MP from opposition Heritage party Zaruhi Postanjyan offered the Minister to visit the site and clarify whether unauthorized constriction works are being carried out.                    

The Closed Market belongs to Republican MP, businessman Samvel Aleksanyan.

The market was created by architect Grigor Aghababyan and engineer Hamazasp Arakelyan. The market was recognized one of the best architectural constructions in Armenia.
