YEREVAN. –Premier Tigran Sargsyan said a 30 percent subsidy on gas price is one of the provisions of talks between the Armenian government and Russian side.

Talking to reporters in parliament, Sargsyan said several options are being discussed, but refused to name them.

As of July 1, the Russian natural gas being supplied to Armenia will cost $270—instead of the today’s $180—per 1,000 cubic meters. Earlier Premier said the government will provide a 30 percent subsidy to lessen the affect of the forthcoming gas price increase on the country’s residents.
