YEREVAN. – The “Last Bell” will ring Friday for the graduating classes of Armenia’s 1,400 schools, the Education and Science Ministry’s Public Education Department Chief Narine Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am (photo).

On this day, last classes, last-bell events, and festive concerts will be organized by and for the graduating students.

Hovhannisyan also informed that there are about 30,000 graduating students in Armenia this year, and the final examinations will be held between June 2 and 20.

Incidentally, a total of 40,000 students had graduated from Armenia’s schools last year.

The “Last Bell” is a tradition coming from the Soviet era, and it is the schoolchildren’s most loved and anticipated day.

Armenian News-NEWS.am likewise congratulates all the graduates on their “Last Bell.”
