YEREVAN. – Armenia is on the brink of societal unrest, and not solely the agricultural damage caused by nature, but also the upcoming rise in the natural gas price contributes to this.
Opposition Heritage Party National Assembly (NA) Faction leader Ruben Hakobyan stated the aforesaid during Friday’s NA briefings.
In his words, the government’s newly approved program cannot solve the existing problems in the country because the changes need to be structural.
“The government’s program assumes carrying out activities within the law, but corruption is the driving force of the power system. Revolutionary processes are brewing. We need revolutionary changes by way of elections; but the past elections showed that it is impossible to implement evolution in Armenia,” Ruben Hakobyan stated.
