The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child will consider reports presented by Armenia during the sixty-third session in Geneva to be held from 27 May to 14 June.

On May 29 Armenia will present its third and fourth periodic report under the Convention on the Rights of the Child.  Armenia is also presenting its initial reports under the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict and under the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

Kirsten Sandberg, the Committee’s Chairperson, said that during the current session the Committee would examine 12 reports, including those on Armenia, Rwanda, Israel, Uzbekistan, Slovenia and Guinea Bissau.
