YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan made another “pleasant” surprise for those who attempt to brainwash the public that he and his party are opposition, Zhamanak daily reports.

“During the First Republic Day events on [Tuesday,] May 28 at Sardarapat [Memorial], ‘opposition’ Gagik Tsarukyan was standing on the platform where there were solely the senior representatives of the authorities.

In all probability, this is the new oppositional culture which, in the view of some people, the PAP is trying to inset in the political arena [of Armenia]. In other words, the PAP is importing a culture of high degree opposition. [But] all this, of course, now becomes comical,” Zhamanak writes.
