The “TaTever” (“Wings of Tatev”) cableway, which is located in Armenia’s Syunik Region, started its summer timetable on June 1.
In line with the new schedule, the “TaTever” cable cars will operate between 10am and 8:15pm every day except for Mondays, when maintenance will be conducted.
In addition, the cableway operates in accordance with the approved schedule for holiday Mondays and those Mondays that follow the Armenian Apostolic Church holidays and are declared no-work days.
To note, “TaTever” cableway was launched on October 16, 2010. On October 23 of the same year, it was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s longest two-way cableway (5,752 meters) and for its shortest time of construction (10 months).
