YEREVAN. – A group of Armenian capital city Yerevan schoolchildren, who attended a camp in Romania’s capital city Bucharest and at the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, have returned with vivid impressions.

During the one-week camp, these 46 schoolchildren, who excelled in their studies and in cultural and sporting activities, took part in numerous events and tournaments, informs the Yerevan Municipality Information and Public Relations Department.    

The schoolchildren informed that they introduced the Armenian art and culture and Yerevan to the Romanians, and received many words of delight and gratitude. The children also noted that they have returned to Yerevan with great pride.    

To note, the Yerevan-Bucharest schoolchildren’s summer camp was the first such event that was organized at the joint initiative of the mayors of the Armenian and the Romanian capital cities.
