YEREVAN. – There is no information on the timing of the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani parliamentarians, Armenian MP said.

Chairman of Armenia-France friendship group of the Armenian parliament Ara Babloyan confirmed for Armenian News-NEWS.am that it was his initiative, adding that there are still are no deadlines for implementation of the initiative.

Babloyan stressed that he presented the idea because he believes aggregation of hatred between the two nations, especially among the younger generation is unacceptable.

The idea got a response from the Chairman of France-Armenia friendship group Philippe Kaltenbach. The latter invited the Armenian and Azerbaijani parliamentarians to meet for a dialogue on Karabakh issue. According to the French lawmaker, the chairman of Azerbaijan-France parliamentary friendship group Mehriban Aliyeva has given her consent.
