Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Saturday met with his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevičius in Vilnius.

The Ministers touched upon Armenia's decision to join the Customs Union and in this context had in-depth discussion of further development of Armenia-EU relations, reads the statement issued by Armenian MFA.

Edward Nalbandian confirmed Armenia's readiness to continue close cooperation with EU in different areas as much as it will be acceptable to the European Union and will not contradict Armenia's membership to the Customs Union.

The Ministers shared the opinion that Armenia-EU relations must be advanced based on results mutually achieved over the recent years.
