YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday received Ambassador James Warlick, new US Co-Chair of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group.

They discussed the course of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and the situation at the line of contact between the military forces of the parties to the conflict.    

US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern also attended the meeting, informs the Armenian MOD press service.

The interlocutors underscored the need for maintaining the ceasefire, easing the tension at the line of contact, and strengthening the mutual trust between the conflicting parties. 

In addition, Seyran Ohanyan presented his considerations concerning the avenues for strengthening trust at the line of contact.
