EREVAN. – The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs must move closely on the basis of cooperation with respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

Ambassador James Warlick, new US Co-Chair of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, noted the aforesaid during a press conference on Thursday.

But Warlick did not provide a clear answer to the question as to whether Armenia’s decision to join the Customs Union could impact the mediation efforts by the United States.

“I look forward to working with Russia as partners [in the Karabakh negotiation process]. I look forward to working closely with my fellow Minsk Group Co-Chair, Igor Popov,” the US Co-Chair noted.
