YEREVAN. – Armenia is a part of European Higher Education Area, Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan said.

“During the meeting with my colleagues responsible for education in the Eastern Partnership member states, we discussed possibilities for Europe’s support to educational programs in our states. The conversation was open and sincere. We have common agenda, tasks and challenges. We are moving forward on the same path, forming and strengthening the single education area,” he said.  

The Minister stressed that education is one of the key tools of economy development and cooperation.

Armenia was engaged in EU Tempus and Erasmus Mundus in 1995 and 2004.
