Ukraine has worked for long years to come close to Europe and, today, it has achieved the required standards to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union (EU), stated Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
“In most recent times, we came to the conclusion, with our partners in the European Union, that Ukraine has reached the standards of the Association Agreement that will be signed in November of this year in [the Lithuanian capital city] Vilnius,” the President said.
Yanukovych also noted that the transformations in Ukraine will reflect positively on the other countries with which they build mutually beneficial bilateral relations, Fakty.ua reports.
