YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received a delegation led by Chairman Viktor Khristenko of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board.
The interlocutors discussed Armenia-ECC cooperation.
In this context, they reflected on the memorandum on deepening Armenia-ECC collaboration, and which was signed Wednesday, and the results of the respective working group’s first meeting which, as per Khristenko, had an effective and a successful course, informs the Press Office of the President.
In the parties’ conviction, the aforesaid memorandum lays a firm foundation for cooperation between Armenia and the ECC.
Sargsyan and Khristenko stressed that there is considerable work to do following Armenia’s announcement to join the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, and the respective decision by the leaders of the Customs Union member states.
In this connection, Armenia’s President and the chairman the Eurasian Economic Commission Board reaffirmed their commitment to carry out these activities and complete the given processes in the shortest possible time.
