YEREVAN. – Even if no document is signed between Armenia and the European Union (EU) at the forthcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Lithuania’s capital city Vilnius, this does not mean that their relations are in very bad shape.
Noravank Analytical Center Director Gagik Harutyunyan stated the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday.
“As a result of relations with the EU, we [i.e., Armenia] have gained tremendous knowhow. Armenia’s standing has risen because we have made a wise decision in terms of ensuring [our] security. I believe that Armenia-European Union relations will strengthen,” Harutyunyan stressed.
The analyst also expressed a view that, by looking at the matter from different angles, Armenia and Georgia should try to synthesize the European and the Eurasian track-records.
