The delegation of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee headed by Gagik Khachatryan participated in the Regional Economic Competitiveness Forum held in Abu Dhabi on November 19-20.

The conference organized by World Customs Organization (WCO) focused on achievements on the way of harmonization of customs procedures, taking into account revised Kyoto convention, as well as long-term prospects of economic integration of the member states.

Gagik Khachatryan and Mr. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Acting Director General of the Federal Customs Authority, signed a technical cooperation agreement for customs assistance.

The agreement will enable to exchange information and take joint steps against smuggling and violation of customs legislation.
