YEREVAN. – Holland’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Hans Horbach—whose diplomatic residence is in Tbilisi, Georgia—, on Tuesday handed his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, and expressed the hope that Horbach will use his long diplomatic track-record in the best way to strengthen Armenian-Dutch relations. Sargsyan noted that he looks toward further intensifying bilateral cooperation. In the President’s conviction, Armenia has opened an embassy in the Netherlands with the conviction that this will have a positive impact on the invigoration of relations between the two countries.

President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Hans Horbach shared the view that there is a significant unrealized potential to deepen bilateral relations further.

In turn, Ambassador Horbach assured that he will do everything possible during his tenure to further strengthen bilateral ties and develop cooperation between the two states.
