The agreements, which were reached during Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Moscow in early September, will be implemented during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia.  

CIS Institute Director Konstantin Zatulin told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In Zatulin’s words, Putin’s forthcoming trip to Armenia is significant, and it was long-awaited and repeatedly-foreseen.

The political scientist stressed that the visit, which is slated for December 2, is fully agreed from the political point of view and it has its reasons.

“This will be Putin’s first visit following the [European Union] Eastern Partnership Summit in [Lithuanian capital city] Vilnius,” Konstantin Zatulin stated. 

To note, the summit was held on Thursday and Friday, and President Sargsyan likewise attended the event.
