YEREVAN. – Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė on Friday received the participants in the conference of the parliamentarians of the European Union (EU) and the EU Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries.  

To note, the conference was held in Lithuania’s capital city Vilnius.

Former Foreign Minister, non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vartan Oskanian represented Armenia at the talk with the Lithuanian president, Oskanian’s office informs. 

The discussants assessed the first phase in the EaP process; that is, the signing of the EU Association Agreement, as a result of which three groups of countries are established: countries that have signed, countries that have not yet signed, and countries (Armenia and Belarus) that have not signed the agreement and have joined the Customs Union.     

They discussed the future of relations between the European Union and the countries in these three groups.
