YEREVAN. – Economic growth is the most discussed issue in media today, PM Tigran Sargsyan said during the media conference summarizing 2013.

Asked about economic growth in the passing year, Sargsyan said the president had given a precise answer and explanations.

“The head of our political team set higher tasks in terms of economic indicators. The goal is that the Cabinet members must do their best to ensure economic growth,” PM noted.

The figures voiced during the presentation of draft budget in the National Assembly are slightly different from “political target.”

To achieve political targets maximum efforts are required, he said, assuring that the government will present a report indicating the efforts that were taken to reach the targets.  

“This report we will present to the public,” Sargsyan emphasized.
