Georgian language department will open at the Yerevan foreign languages institute. The decision was made at the meeting of countries’ education ministers — Armen Ashotyan and Dimitri Shashkin.

The sides discussed prospects of cooperation development in education as well as new programs enabling ethnic minorities to go to universities on preferential terms. Applicants will take a one-year Georgian language course enabling to further the education in Georgian. Georgia will pay fee for 100 Armenian students with high grades.
