The airports in western Ireland will be closed on May 7 due to volcanic ash restrictions, though airports of Dublin, Cork and Waterford will remain open.
European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation – Eurocontrol announced that there are areas of predicted ash up to 35000 feet while over the previous few days the maximum altitude was 20000 feet.
According to Eurocontrol website, the rerouting of transatlantic flights is currently being discussed.
