Armenia is in 103rd place in the World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Report 2014.

In the new report, the country has dropped nine places and is now ranked 103rd from among 142 countries.

As per the report, Armenia is in good condition in terms of education, but the role of the women, as compared to the men, has weakened last year in economy and in politics.

The report aims to determine the level of equality between men and women in 142 countries.

Iceland and four more northern European countries are the top five with respect to the level of gender equality, whereas Yemen and Pakistan hold the worst two respective indicators.
