YEREVAN. – A miracle should happen, and Azerbaijan has to launch constructive dialogue in order to reach compromise in Karabakh talks, Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said commenting on the meeting of the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and France in Paris.
According to him, the progress in negotiations is possible if Azerbaijan gives up militarist and adventurist position, if they are ready for talks, not for maximalist and utopian claims.
“If the Azerbaijani side continues their usual conduct, this will mean they are preparing their people for war, not peace. In these conditions, I do not see opportunities for progress,” he added.
