YEREVAN. – The European Union displays rather pragmatic approach, head of EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea said, commenting on official Yerevan's policy.
The Armenian side said they are not pursuing a policy of “either...o”, and are trying to act as a bridge between the two economic unions - the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The EU does not want to jeopardize the plans of partners, but at this stage it is essential that the sides are able to successfully complete the scoping framework, Hristea emphasized.
“We can only encourage the Armenian authorities in successful implementation of what we already had to this point,” Ambassador Hristea said.
He expressed hope that progress in Armenia's economy achieved in the framework of negotiations on the Association Agreement will continue to develop.
