YEREVAN. – Our task is to tell our Armenian partners that we would not like to see legalization of the Crimea authorities by operating Yerevan-Simferopol flight, UK Ambassador Katherine Leach told reporters on Wednesday.

Another participant of the press conference, German Ambassador Reiner Morell noted that he has no answer to the question what will happen in case a direct flight is launched.

“But I think that for finding solution to the problem, it is is always good to think about dialogue. People will feel the consequences, they will be forced to fly longer way than it could be That is, you need more time to discuss the situation and find a solution beneficial to all parties and from all points of view,” the diplomat said.

Earlier Armenia's General Department of Civil Aviation denied the reports on direct flights between Yerevan and Simferopol.
