YEREVAN. – All roads in Armenia are passable as of Monday at 8:30am, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed.

The Sotk-Karvachar, Aparan-Spitak, partly Sisian-Goris motorways, Saravan section of the Vayk-Sisian Highway, Hrazdan section of the Yerevan-Sevan Highway, and the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass, however, are difficult to pass due to black ice.

At present, there is wet snow in Dilijan city, in the Tavush Region, and in the Syunik Region.

The crews are clearing and conducting maintenance of the roads.

The ministry recommends drivers to use winter tires.

And according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open, from 7am to 7pm, for all vehicles.
