YEREVAN. - Armenia will sign a memorandum of cooperation with the international education network Teach For All, country’s Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said in the Armenian parliament, Armenian News – NEWS.am reports.
“We want to join this network and open an organization Teach For Armenia, through which volunteers will be invited to teach in our villages. This includes Armenians from Armenia, as well as Armenians and foreigners from overseas,” the minister said.
He stressed at the same time that the state will select volunteers with caution, taking into account their professional qualities and purpose of their arrival.
“The state should be confident that the candidates arrive solely to teach the children,” Ashotian added.
