YEREVAN. – The majority of Armenia residents who welcome the New Year abroad will greet 2015 in Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).   

Armenian News-NEWS.am’s queries in several capital city Yerevan travel agencies have shown that the residents of Armenia prefer warm New Year resorts over European countries.

The travel agencies offer their customers New Year tour packages in these directions, and the prices of these packages range between Armenian drams equivalent to from $800 to $1,700, per person.   

And those who have purchased their New Year tour packages in September have saved an average of 300 dollars.   

The travel agencies, however, noted that this year, unlike the previous New Year, the number of New Year holiday travelers of Armenia has reduced.
