YEREVAN. – Political and legal aspects on Armenian Genocide recognition and compensation must be parallel, leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian said during a conference in Yerevan.

Armenians did not lose lives of people only , it was an assassination of homeland, civilization and culture.

“Acknowledgment of the Armenian Genocide exists in the archives,” he noted.

Hovannisian believes the struggle must continue in political, legal and other formats.

“Rights of every Armenian family must be restored,” the politician added.
