The swearing-in ceremony of Taiwan’s new government was held in capital city Taipei.

It will hold its first Cabinet meeting on Monday, and under the chairmanship of the new Premier, Mao Chi-kuo, 66, who was the Vice Premier of Taiwan.

He stressed that the new government’s priority will be to approve the 2015 State Budget, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

Preceding Premier Jiang Yi-huah had resigned on November 29, after the then-ruling party’s defeat in the election, when the then-opposition Democratic Progressive Party convincingly won the voting.
