YEREVAN. – Armenian parliament will agree the text of a necessary document, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said.
His reply came in response to comment on the fate of a draft bill on recognition of the genocide of Greeks, Assyrians, Yazidis and other nations in the Ottoman Empire that was proposed by Heritage deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan.
“The text must be so that it could be adopted unanimously. Thus, the document should have a form that could be signed by all lawmakers. This is why our proposal was accepted by the author of thee bill,” he added.
