YEREVAN. – Pensions in Armenia will grow by 14 percent starting from January 1, 2015, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan said.

He noted that the average pension will rise form 36 to 41 thousand drams (less than $90).

From January 1, basic pension will rise from 14 to 16 thousand drams, and payments for seniority from 700 do 800 drams for the first ten years and from 450 to 500 for the consequent years.

Military pensions will rise as well, the Minister said, promising to continue this policy in the future.
