STEPANAKERT. – The Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched intelligence-gathering sabotage infiltration operations, on Thursday at around 1:30am, from two directions, and toward the southeastern section of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army.

During these operations, the adversary made use of different-caliber offensive weapons, including hand grenades, informed the NKR MOD press service. 

The Defense Army vanguard units, however, inflicted casualties upon the adversary and forced it to back to its original positions. 

The NKR Defense Army, on the other hand, suffered no casualties while defending against the adversary.

Details of the incident are being ascertained.
