US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov conferred on the Middle East conflict in a telephonic conversation.
The conversation took place at Kerry’s initiative, the Russian MFA website informed.
The parties discussed the avenues for resuming the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, including the present-day situation in the UN Security Council.
Lavrov and Kerry also talked about the prospect for bilateral ties next year.
