YEREVAN. – The Czech Republic is a party of the European Union and we are ready to help Armenia in partnership with EU and implementation of a new deal, Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek told Armenian News-NEWS.am and Armenpress agencies.

Asked about prospects for Armenia-EU relations, Mr. Zaorálek said this is something “you have to decide on your part.”

“I really appreciate the interest of your country's policy in a new agreement between the EU and Armenia, and perhaps this reason that I am here.”

The Minister also expressed satisfaction with the opening of the Czech Embassy in Yerevan.

“The Czech Republic is ready to develop relations with Armenia, because we are convinced that Armenia is a part of our history.”
