YEREVAN. – The Minister of Urban Development of Armenia, Narek Sargsyan, presented, at Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting, the matter of making changes in the strategic plan for multi-unit housing in the country.

The said changes will apply to the schedule of ongoing events being held within the framework of this strategic plan.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan urged to focus especially on the condition of the apartment buildings in capital city Yerevan and in Gyumri and Vanadzor cities.

“We need to think about the maintenance of housing,” Abrahamyan added, in particular.

Sargsyan, for his part, noted that the changes being made in this strategic plan will launch a new legislative initiative.
