STEPANAKERT. - Karabakh is a free country; anyone can come to live here, visit for vacation and communicate with the residents, Karabakh President Spokesman Davit Babayan told Armenian News – NEWS.am, referring to the statement by the Azerbaijani politician Bayram Safarov. The latter said that Armenian leadership created no conditions for the meeting with Karabakh residents.

“It’s clear that this mister is speculating. Put simply, he gives away the ‘information’ he wants to disseminate,” Davit Babayan said, noting that reproaches against Armenia are equally unjustified and inappropriate.   

According to Babayan, it’s enough to look at the statistics of the growing tourist flow to the republic, to get convinced about the wide geography of visitants from Zimbabwe to China, and from Canada to Australia.

“Bayram Safarov is just carrying out the task received from the corresponding intelligence services,” Babayan said.
