YEREVAN. – Zhamanak daily has learned that opposition Prosperous Armenia National Assembly Faction members—ex-FM—Vartan Oskanian and Vahe Hovhannisyan will announce, in the near future, about the creation of a new political party, reported the daily.

“The party is meant to replace [the] Prosperous Armenia [Party] in the political stage. First, to replace in the sense that this party shall from now on be engaged in lobbying for the political return of former President Robert Kocharyan, and freeing up space for him in the political stage [of Armenia],” wrote Zhamanak.
