The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has put Russian operatic soprano Ljuba (Ljubov) Kazarnovskaya and Russian businessman German Sterligov on its “blacklist.”

Spokesperson of the Azerbaijan MFA, Hikmet Hajiyev, told the aforementioned to reporters.

“German Sterligov—who has a controversial biography—, before setting foot on the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, must have been informed that those territories create a favorable ground for money laundering by way of the banking system of Armenia, and engaging in criminal activity,” stated Hajiyev.

Sterligov’s recent decision to move to Nagorno-Karabakh with his family continues to cause hysteria among the Azerbaijani side.

The Azerbaijan MFA has announced that all those journalists, who will attend the Russian businessman’s forthcoming press conference in Karabakh, will be put on its “blacklist,” just like German Sterligov.

The “blacklist” of the Azerbaijan MFA comprises all those foreigners that have visited Nagorno-Karabakh without the knowledge of the Azerbaijani authorities. This “list” is getting bigger, and it includes the names of several hundred well-known people, counting world-renowned personalities such as Spanish operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé.
