YEREVAN. – A 32-year-old Armenia man was assaulted after winning $38,000 on sports bets.

The man was beaten and his brief case with $38,000 as well as iPhone and netbook were stolen.

The investigators found out that the man won more than 18 million drams on sports bets. On July 9 he came to bookmakers' office by a taxi and went to exchange rate office by the same taxi. When walking home, the man was hit on his head.

Three suspects have been detained in the case, but the investigation continues.
