The claim of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia filed with Turkey’s Constitutional Court to return the historic residence in Sis is unlikely to be considered before September, Catholicosate spokesperson told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
According to the Catholicosate spokesperson, it’s vacation time for the Turkish courts, that’s why they are considering only urgent cases. “I don’t think there will be news or changes in this matter before September,” the spokesperson said.
Armenian Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia filed a lawsuit with Turkey’s Constitutional Court on April 28, demanding to return the residence and estates in Sis, located in the territory of the historical Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia.
