YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy Justice Minister was surprised by resignation of Minister Hovhannes Manukyan.
Deputy Minister Arsen Mkrtchyan is not aware of the reasons for resignation and has no idea who will replace Manukyan, he told reporters after the Cabinet's meeting on Thursday.
Manukyan was appointed justice minister in the Cabinet of Hovik Abrahamyan on April 30, 2014. In 2005-2008 he held the office of the chairman of the Court of Cassation.
